About me

I was born in Cardiff in Wales where I lived until the end of 2004 when I relocated to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. I am a writer, a singer-songwriter, a poet, a journalist, an author, photographer, naturalist and conspiracy theorist! I was a  compère for the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2002 and 2003 and I was in the same role at the Green Man Festival in 2003. I have also performed as a singer and musician at both festivals. I worked a co-presenter on TV in 1998 for two series of a magazine called In Full View.

My songs have been used in several TV programmes and broadcast on many radio shows both FM and Internet. My music has been reviewed in well-known publications such as Q magazine and the NME.

I have written for Permaculture magazine, Prediction magazine and the Big Issue and since I have been in Tenerife have written for Living Tenerife, the Tenerife Sun and Tenerife News. I am the author of Herbs of the Northern Shaman, which was originally published by Loompanics and is out again on Lulu.com with new colour photos by Katrinia Rindsberg. It is being published again on O-Books.
